Wewow searches for young designer

A lucky designer could win the chance to work with media packaging company Wewow by entering its packaging design competition.

Bradford-based Wewow has invited students and young designers to design an eco-friendly pack for CD/DVDs and win the chance to have their work manufactured.

The competition coincides with the launch of WeWow's new website dedicated specifically to environmentally-friendly media packaging.

Wewow's eco-friendly range includes its own WowWallet and WowPak range as well as the Jakebox and Paperfoam trays, amongst others.

"Wewow is a market leader in the CD/DVD eco-packaging arena and we are keen to work with the very best design talent to spark new packaging ideas and concepts that benefit our clients and the environment," said managing director Stuart Jones.

The winner of the competition will be announced early next year.
