Macfarlane helps Confused.com cover street in bubble wrap: photo story

Macfarlane Packaging has covered a street in bubble wrap as part of a publicity stunt for insurance website Confused.com.

Somerville Street in Worcester - renamed Accident Avenue for the day - was entirely wrapped in bubble wrap to highlight the increased accidents during last month's cold snap.

Following an internet search, Confused.com sourced the 140sqm of biodegradable bubble wrap from Macfarlane Packaging.

After the stunt, the wrap was donated to Oxfam's distribution centre in Bicester where it was used for relief supplies being sent to Haiti.
